First Trip to Moscow

My first trip to Moscow in June 2008 was a vacation to visit Jim and Carrie Will who moved there in August 2007. They said if I threw some change over my shoulder outside of the entrance to the Red Square that one day I would return. At the time I thought, "no way, this place is much bigger than Pittsburgh (the Yinzer in me)." It only took a few more days in Moscow and St. Petersburg to realize that as bizarre as this place might be, it's going to be a good time for a few years.

(True to the name of the blog, I'm in full out yinzer attire upon my first arrival in Moscow at the entrance to the Red Square.)
I hope that this is a good way to share my interesting adventures in Moscow for the next two years. I'll keep the blog PG and as professional as I can so you can take some time away at work if you'd like to follow my adventure, but there may be a time or ten where you are forced to tilt your head down and shake it in disbelief as you had in the past with the Guinea Gazette (if you were lucky to be a subscriber).
